Iconic Worldwide Creative Agency - Facilities Manager - six-month contract
This innovative media giant, who are recognised as a driving force in the independent creative world, is looking for a talented and multi-faceted Facilities Manager to join their London operation and act as guardian of their world-famous office space. Working in a collaborative and successful team, this vital role would suit somebody who is one step ahead of any potential problem and who can take initiative to ensure no new issues arise.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Manage the day-to-day running of the London office ensuring a safe, compliant, efficient working environment and space that delivers an outstanding experience for everyone who interacts with it.
Rapidly troubleshooting business critical failure ensuring any ongoing probles are flagged and dealt with
Proactively manage the general upkeep and maintenance of the building including reactive repairs and proactive long-term maintenance plans
Strategic space planning of the office, including floor and seating plans, ensuring that the space evolves alongside the creative needs
Ensure the design of the space is inspirational, productive and sustainable, reflecting the brand aesthetic
Management of building projects/renovations with minimal disruption to agency workflow
Negotiating and coordinating with external contractors and suppliers ensuring smooth daily and long term business operations
Liaise and work closely with landlord and Agency ventures, forging good relationships and communication
Work closely on green initiatives and sustainability, from waste reduction to energy efficiency
Manage the annual facilities budget controlling costs and identifying opportunities for cost-effective innovation and energy efficiency
Manage and ensure compliance with Health &Safety legislation, security and environmental regulations
Manage digital access control, onsite out of hours security staff and liaise with security company
Co-ordinate and manage agency internal and external events, working closely with Heads of Department, IT and creative teams, managing cleaning, security and temporary staff
Support the Heads of Department in providing inspirational leadership, mentorship and guidance and to Front of House and crew teams
