Front of House at Award Winning Post-Production Studio

ROLE

The Receptionist will be responsible for the front of house desk, ensuring that all guests, visitors and colleagues are given a first-class welcoming and efficient service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • First point of contact for all visitors, guests and colleagues, welcoming and greeting them in person or on the telephone, answering and directing inquiries and announcing visitors.

  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.

  • Responding to general emails from the public.

  • Order office supplies for the organisation, keeping and maintaining stationery via the reception desk.

  • Booking meeting rooms and arranging refreshments for meetings if required.

  • Coordinating deliveries and couriers, distributing the post as required.

  • Security requirements; ensuring access passes, signing guests in and out and issuing visitor passes as necessary.

  • Booking taxis when required.

  • Organising authorised car parking.

  • Assigning lockers and keys to individuals.

  • Monitor and order refreshments when required.

  • Order and maintain kitchen supplies and groceries

  • Monitor coffee machine, clean when necessary.

  • Arrange travel when required

  • Any other ad hoc admin duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience of working on a busy reception desk, or for a large organisation.

  • The ability to work alone and remain self-motivated.

  • Good organisational skills and an efficient and confident manner.

  • Be experienced with Microsoft Office, in particular, Word and Excel packages.

  • Be familiar with telephone software packages.

Up to £30,000 dependent on experience
